About the Photographer.
His photographic file has over 10.000 items and over 1.100 bird species. Several of these bird species are threatened with extinction and some of them are first-ever photographs in natural habitat. Monthly trips are made throughout Brazil to places like the Itatiaia National Park, Ubatuba Natural Reserve, Serra da Canastra National Park, "Pantanal", Campos do Jordão and many others, to try to capture on film rare and beautiful birds in their natural habitat. Photographs published in "National Geographic Magazine-Brasil", "Vejinha São Paulo", "Fotografe Melhor", "Super Interessante", "O Estado de São Paulo" newspaper, Continga-England (Journal of the Neotropical Bird Club), Handbook of the Birds of the World-Spain and photographs for an audio-visual project in the "Serra da Cantareira" in São Paulo. Lecture at the S.O.S. Mata Atlântica in São Paulo on November 18, 1999; subject: Birds of the City of São Paulo. Three lectures were also proffered at the Audubon Society in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A. in 1998 and 1999. Lecture at the Audubon Society in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A, an American society for the study of birds, in January 1998, with slides of Brazilian birds.
