Edson Endrigo

Born in São Paulo City, Edson Endrigo started to watch birds at an early age on his Grandfather's farm. His dedication to learn how to identify the birds and his natural abilities to hear their calls has made him an expert on the bird species of South-eastern Brazil. Since 1995 he has been a professional bird photographer specializing in rare, threatened or poorly known species. He has learned, in this way, to identify many species in different environments such as Cerrado, the Atlantic Forest and Pantanal. He started his career as a birding tour guide in 2000 and since then he has been leading tours for birders from all over the World. His non-stop enthusiasm and energy make each one of his birding trips a most enjoyable and highly productive experience. He is prepared to organize an unforgettable trip and show you the foliage gleaners, woodcreepers, antshrikes, antbirds, antvireos, antthrushes, manakins and cotingas and to identify the flycatchers, elaenias and tyrannulets.
